JAMMU, Jan 30: “Aman Aur Jawan, Aman Hai Muqam” as part of Sadhbhavna initiative for fulfilling the needs of locals and to alleviate their problems by development of remote and inaccessible areas, Engineer Company of Ace of Spade Division constructed a check-dam at Makri Village in Naoshera.
Standing robust against the flow of water, the dam is now retaining water in a reservoir of 15 meters by 30 meters which is sufficient for fulfilling the daily needs of the villagers.
The construction was completed on 26 January 2016. The locals have thanked the Indian Army engineers for their help and commitment towards development.
