Srinagar, Jan 30: Police today said two persons including lady attempted suicide in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said a lady (name withheld) of Shalgam village Sirgufwara in the district consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to Srinagar hospital for treatment, he said.
The spokesman said a 25 year old youth resident of Chenigund in the same area consumed some poisonous substance at his home. “He was shifted to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara for treatment wherefrom he was referred to Srinagar hospital for further treatment,” he added. Police have registered cases in both the incidents.
