Army provides computers, other accessories to 9 schools

SRINAGAR, Jan 30: Army in assistance to needy children as part of ongoing project, under operation Sadhbavna, organised distribution of computers, printers and accessories to nine Government schools of Anantnag district in south Kashmir today, a defence spokesman said here.
The spokesman said the army provided much required educational aid including computers with complete peripherals, computer tables, chairs and printers to 9 schools. “100-150 students of each school were benefitted by the assistance provided by the Army,” he said.
The event was attended by Zonal Education Officers of Shangus and Achabal, Tehsildar of Shangus, representatives of Army and civil administration as well as Sarpanchs of the neighbouring villages, said the spokesman.
