Three injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Jan 30: Three persons were injured in two separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a man identified as Pawan Gupta (47) son of Om Parkash, a resident of Subhash Nagar and his minor son Aman Gupta (11) were injured when the scooter on which they were travelling, was hit by an unknown vehicle near Nai Basti in Satwari area falling under the limits of police station Gandhi Nagar.
Both father and his son received injuries in the mishap and were shifted to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar from where they were later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
In another accident that occurred late last night here at Amphalla, an oil tanker collided with a car leaving the car driver identified as Nisar Ahmed son of Abdul, a resident of Gool, injured. He was shifted to GMCH for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
