SRINAGAR, Jan 30: Around 200 People’s Democratic Party (PDP) workers and office bearers are participating in the meeting with party president Mehbooba Mufti at her residence tomorrow.
The PDP senior leader and former Education Minister, Naeem Akhtar told Excelsior that the meeting has nothing to do with Government formation. He said that the PDP president has been authorized by the Core Group of the party to take her decision on Government formation. “She will do it, after considering the political situation”, he said.
Akhtar said that around 200 Zonal presidents and senior workers and old workers of the party will deliberate on the situation in the meeting tomorrow. “They will discuss, how best Mufti Mohammad Sayeed’s agenda of peace and development can be taken forward. He said that organization matters will also be discussed in the meeting”, he said.
