JAMMU, Jan 31: A meeting of Gandhi Nagar Constituency was held under the chairmanship of Baldev Singh Billowria B.J.P president district Jammu at Sec.9 Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu in which various issues were discussed threadbare.
The meeting discussed the strategy for Urban Local Bodies and Panchyat elections and blue print has been also prepared for the same. Mr Billowria emphasized the need for spreading the policies and programmes of B.J.P in the State and Centre for the benefit of social politically down -trodden people.
While addressing the workers meet the Organisational general secretary of the Party Ashok Koul sought information regarding the steps taken by workers for strengthening the party from grass root level. He exhorted them to remain steadfast for holding the forthcoming Urban local bodies & Panchyat elections so that all the 24 wards of Gandhi Nagar Constituency be won by the B.J.P.
He said pseudo secular parties must be given a befitting reply as the BJP did in Leh during the Hill Council elections.
Speaker Legislative Assembly M.L.A Gandhi Nagar Constituency Kavinder Gupta has said and informed the workers the achievements of collation Government of B.J.P & PDP of past ten months and future policies of the party may be conveyed at the doorsteps of residents of his Constituency .He informed that black topping of roads will be done immediately after Winter spell and the restoration of electricity and unscheduled cuts will be curtailed fully.
Vinay Gupta general secretary of district Jammu, district vice president Ch. Surjit Singh(Pappu Ch.) has appealed the party workers to strengthen the hands of Kavinder Gupta M.L.A and thanked the participants. Mandal Presidents Ch Harbans Lal and Mandal President Ankush Gupta were also present in the meeting.
