Kargil students meet MP Ladakh

JAMMU, Jan 31: A delegation of students from Kargil under the leadership of President BJYM Kargil Mohammad Hassan Pasha met MP Ladakh Thupstan Tsewang and raised the issues pertaining to the youths in Ladakh.
The delegation demanded Central University in Ladakh region, examination centers for various competitive exams, IGNOU centre in Zanskar Valley, implement the Center and State Level scholarships schemes, better infrastructure for Degree college Kargil, hostel for students of Kargil at Delhi, Financial aid for various students unions of Kargil in Delhi, Jammu, Chandigarh, Srinagar, etc.
They also demanded introduction of more subjects and facilities at GDCK, filling up vacant posts in various Departments at Kargil, build new sports stadium at Kargil district, digital library at Kargil with central heating system, improvement in communication facilities and to provide free WI-Fi facilities in Government educational institutions.
MP Ladakh assured the students that he will take the matter to the concerned authorities for redressal on the priority basis.
