SAMBA, Jan 31: Mansar Police recovered eight bovine animals, seized the truck in which they were being carried and also arrested two smugglers late last night.
According to police two smugglers were carrying bovine animals in a truck bearing number 7660 JK02T and the police on a tip off intercepted the truck and recovered the bovine animals from it.
The two smugglers identified as Sher Ali son of Mia Rasheed of Kasi Patta Reasi and Maksud Ahmed son of Abdul Ganni of Bali Charana, Jammu were arrested.
The Mansar Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law against them.
