UDHAMPUR, Feb 1: In two separate road mishaps, a minor boy was crushed to death by a rashly driven Mini bus at village Dhano, near Tikri, while a motorcyclist was knocked to death by a truck near Birma bridge.
According to Police, three-year old Suchet Singh, son of Bharat Singh of Dhano was crushed to death by a rashly driven minibus JK02AJ-8604, this morning. The child reportedly died on the spot while the mini bus driver, namely Rahul Chand, son of Sansar Chand of Dhano, was arrested. Police has also seized the minibus and registered a case in this connection.
In another road accident, a motorcyclist was knocked to death by a Truck JK02AB-2195 near Birma Bridge on the National Highway, here today. The deceased was identified as Kulbushan (50) son of Dharam Chand of village Parthyar Ghari Udhampur.
