UDHAMPUR, Feb 2: District Vigilance Officer (Additional Deputy Commissioner) Udhampur Angrez Singh Rana has initiated enquiry against the CAPD storekeeper, Mand and constituted a enquiry team consisting of ACD Udhampur Joginder Singh Rai (chairman), Tehsildar Udhampur Sapna Kotwal and Assistant Director Planning Uttam Singh, on the basis of complaint lodged by a deputation of the Mand area that Storekeeper is not issuing prescribed quantity of monthly ration on time to them.
Deputation further alleged that though they have received ration (i.e, wheat and sugar) on 30-1-2016, but entry to this effect has been made ” as received ration” on 2-2-2016.During the hearing, they produced the ration cards wherein entry of ration has been made as 2-2-2016.
Further, on the perusal of the ration cards, it revealed that the entry with regard to only date of issue has been made in the ration cards, but the quantity issued as per the souls has not been mentioned, which clearly indicates the malafide intention of the storekeeper/department.
The committee so constituted will submit the report along with the recommendations to the District Vigilance Officer, Udhampur within a week.
