SRINAGAR : Jammu and Kashmir police have busted a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) module by arresting three alleged Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in the frontier district of Kupwara in north Kashmir.
This was the second major success for security forces, which had nabbed four Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HuM) on January 23, in Baramulla. Official sources identified the three arrested OGWs of JeM as Ghulam Ahmad Parray, Umar Mushtaq and Ghulam Nabi Lone.
They were arrested at Handwara and were being questioned, sources said. The preliminary investigation reveal that they were planning to attack security installations in north Kashmir, the sources claimed.
On January 23, four HuM militants were arrested near Sangrama forest check-post after specific inputs on Srinagar-Baramulla road. (AGENCIES)
