SBI opens 24×7 Basic Banking e-Corner

UDHAMPUR, Feb 3: State Bank of India (SBI) added another milestone to the customer services by dedicating a 24X7 Basic Banking e-Corner to the people of Udhampur.
The e-Corner was inaugurated by Anil Kishora (Chief General Manager), State Bank of India, LHO, Chandigarh.
At the inaugural function, Anil Kishora expressed his pleasure and gratitude towards the people of Udhampur for supporting the SBI to establish and deliver variety of services to its customers. He also expressed his vision of delivering such advanced and hi-tech services throughout the State of J&K, as this will enable the people to avail Basic Banking services 24X7 and 365 days.
Kishora informed that the Bank has started numerous technological products so as to deliver fast and affordable services to its customers. The services like E-Buddy (Mobile Wallet), State Bank Anywhere, Retail and Corporate Internet banking and SBI QUICK are the latest initiatives started by the bank to provide anytime anywhere banking services to the customers.
He requested the customers to avail full benefits of all the application provided by the Bank for Mobile and Internet platform.
The e-Corner contains 5 Hybrid Machines, Self Service Passbook Printing with high security Barcode System, a Recycler capable of handling deposit and withdrawal transactions, Cash Deposit Machine, ATM Machine and a Coin Vending machine.
Kishora was also accompanied by the Regional Manager, Ashok Kumar Razdan, who reiterated the vision of the Bank to provide high class and affordable services to the people of J&K. Razdan also informed that, this will be the unique initiative from any bank in this region for offering 24X7 basic banking facility to the customers.
