National Herald Case: Sonia, Rahul move SC

NEW DELHI : Congress president Sonia Gandhi and her son and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi today moved the Supreme Court challenging the Delhi High Court order in which summons were issued to them in the National Herald Case.
The Delhi High Court had earlier refused to stay the summon against the Gandhis in the National Herald Case.
They had appealed in the Patiala House court complying with the order. The court had fixed February 20 as the next date of hearing in the case. As a result of which Gandhis had to appear in the Patiala House court in person.
Ms Gandhi and Mr Gandhi had sought personal exemption and moved the SC seeking not to appear in court on February 20.
The Supreme Court is likely to take the matter within a couple of days. (AGENCIES)
