UDHAMPUR, Feb 8: The driver was seriously injured when a truck rolled down into a gorge at Manthal near Tikri on Jammu-Udhampur National Highway today.
Reports said that truck No. JK05C/1857 was on way to Jammu from Srinagar. Near Manthal, the driver lost control on it and the vehicle was landed into a gorge. Seriously injured driver Parvez Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ahmed, resident of village Keya in Tangdhar area of Kashmir was admitted to Udhampur hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
