Plus-2 Lecturers’ Forum highlights demands

JAMMU, Feb 9: All J&K Plus-2 Lecturers’ Forum held monthly meet under the chairmanship of its president Kiranjeet Kour.
The forum members appealed to Governor to personally intervene in sanctioning Running Grade Pattern (Time Bound Promotion) in favour of Plus-2 Cadre which has been a long pending demand of the forum and is applicable to all other counterparts working in 8000-13500 pre-revised scale.
Kiranjeet Kour while speaking demanded regularization of all the Incharge incumbents including incharge Lecturers, Principals, CEOs and Joint Directors pending for so many years which has caused unrest amongst the members of the cadre.
Kour also demanded non-vacational status to the Principals, Restoration of 40 per cent college quota, incentive for MPhil and PhD qualified candidates and re-organization of the department.
The forum also appealed the Governor to release 6 per cent pending DA in favour of State Government employees.
The house also unanimously decided to extend support to the protest being organized by EJAC on February 13 regarding various issues being faced by State Government employees.
Among others present were Anil Sharma, Dr Sushma, RS Salathia, Sanjay Bhagat, NS Jamwal, Charan Dass, Deepak Sharma, Pardeep Singh, Talib Hussain, Narinder Sharma, Ramesh Thakur, Sudesh Sharma and SK Chandel.
