SRMWC appeals all to be part of Shobha Yatra

JAMMU, Feb. 9:  Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee along with Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust is organizing Shiv Barat (Shobha Yatra ) on March 05 on the eve of Maha Shivratri festival  which actually falls on March 7.
While talking to media persons Mahant of Ranbireshwar Temple Shri Rishi Ban Ji said that on March 5, a grand Shobha Yatra of Lord Shiva (Shiv Barat) will be jointly organized  by Jammu and Kashmir Dharamath Trust and Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee.
He said that this Shobha Yatra will start from Shri  Ranbireshwar Ji Temple sharply at 3.30 P.M.on March 5.  This Shobha Yatra (Shiv Barat )will pass through all main bazars of the Old city viz. City Chowk, Raghunath Bazar, Residency Road, Rajinder Bazar, Kanak Mandi, Old Hospital Road, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar, Mubarak Mandi, Upper Bazar, Pacca Danga. Moti Bazar, Parade Chowk and will finally culminate at Shri Ranbireshwar Temple.
He said that on March 7 free Medical Camp with the active co-operation of Indian System of Medicines (Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Indira Chowk) will also be organized at temple premises in which renowned doctors will examine the patients and give them free medicines. Some religious, cultural programmes will also be organized by the renowned artists on the occasion of MahaShivratri Festival.
He appealed all religious minded people and trade organisations to take part in these programmes and got blessings of Lord Shiva.
He also appealed trader organizations of Old Jammu city to decorate their markets with gates, buntings, lights to welcome Shiv Barat.
Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust Shashi Khajuria also spoke on the occasion and appealed all religious minded people to be part of these programmes.
Those who were present on the occasion were Onkar Sharma (Nandi Ji), (president), Rajkumar Gupta, Amit Gupta, Rajinder Vijay Magotra all vice presidents, Advocate Jyoti Sarup Misra (Spokesperson and Legal advisor), Mandeep Sharma, Mohan Shrama, Deepak Sharma (press and publicity Incharge),  Dr. Sunny Gupta (general secretary), Rekha Sharma (president Women Wing), Dolly Abrol (vice- president Women Wing) and Surinder Bhagat.
