JAMMU, Feb 9: A kullah turned into ashes at village Birla, falling under the jurisdiction of RS Pura police station.
As per police sources, a Kullah of Bahadur Ali, son of Qasim Din at village Birla caught fire under mysterious circumstances.
After getting information, police team from RS Pura police station led by SHO Bhushan Manhas rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
The fire fighters along with fire tender reached the spot and after hectic efforts doused the flames, but till then property worth several lakhs got gutted in fire.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
A case in this regard has been registered at RS Pura police station to ascertain the cause behind the fire.
