All J&K Ladakh Teachers Federation projects demands

JAMMU, Feb 9: All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Balwan Singh Jamwal and discussed various issues of the teaching community.
While speaking, Jamwal demanded immediate release of pending salary grants of SSA, RMSA, NPS and mid day meals, proper home work to be done by the concerned while effecting the transfer and adjustments of teachers and masters, filling of all vacant posts in School Education Department.
He also demanded cash in-lieu in respect of teachers at the time of retirement at par with Government employees of other States and senior teacher grade to the undergraduate teachers.
He further demanded immediate adjustment of the promoted lectures in different streams, repatriation of masters working outside their home districts.
“It should be made mandatory for all the DDOs to issue GPF statements to the teachers and masters working under them at the time of their transfer along with last pay certificate and regularization of all cadres of School Education at the time of their promotion”, Jamwal demanded.
