JAMMU, Feb 9: A meeting of Samajwadi Party Minority Forum was held under the chairmanship of its State president Inder Ji Labroo at Jagti Township today in which the plight of pending shopkeepers was highlighted.
As per a release the meeting in an appeal to Governor N N Vohra urged him to issue instructions to the Relief Organization to allot the shops at Jagti to pending shopkeepers whose CDRs are lying with the organization.
The meeting said that that these shopkeepers were asked to deposit Rs 15000 each in the shape of CDRs in 2010 and since then no allotments were made in their favour which amounts to injustice.
