JAMMU, Feb 9: Sports Authority of India (SAI) in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council is conducting election trials for Handball and Basketball (Residential) Boys and Badminton, Handball, Basketball and Table Tennis for Day Boarding Scheme (Boys and Girls) on February 15 and 16, here.
The trials were earlier scheduled to be held on February 3 and 4, but were postponed due to some reasons.
Candidates ageing 12 to 18 years for Day Boarding Scheme and 10 to 14 for Residential Scheme, who have represented State Championship and won first, second or third positions in District Competition are eligible to appear in the trials.
According to a handout issued here, the candidates must report Basketball ground, MA Stadium , Jammu on February 14 at 2 pm in proper play kit alongwith their original and photocopy of date of birth certificate, residential proof, four passport size photographs and sports achievement certificates.
