JAMMU, Feb 9: National Model Academy, Kail Paldhai celebrated its Annual Function cum Prize Distribution with great enthusiasm and exuberance, here.
The function commenced with the lighting of the lamb by the chief guest, Jugal Kshore Sharma, Member Parliament, while Rakesh Jammwal, Joint Director Planning was the guest of honour.
Tehsildar Majalta Sourab Sharma, vice chairman JCC Bank, Nand Kishore Sharma, School sponsor,Darshana Kesar , chairman Jagdish Raj Sharma, Managing Director Nirmal Kesar, Principle Raj Rani Rajput, BDO Khoon Kewal Krishan, ZEO and ZEPO Majalta and Dr. Neeraj Kesar were present on the occasion.
The function started with welcome speech by Nirmal Kesar, Managing Director of the School. This was followed by melodious welcome song by Mangal Gan in honour of esteemed guests.
Ganesh Vandhana was presented by the students on the occasion.
The cultural programme began with a dance by the Tiny Tots of the song ‘Papa Mere Papa’, which was followed by a variety of cultural items.
The school annual report was presented by the school Principal highlighting the achievements of students in various fields .
Sonali Sharma got student of the year award for her great performance in every field where as Teacher Sonia Rajput got best teacher award.
Vote of thanks was presented by Dr Neeraj Kesar.
The function came to a close with the rendition of the National Anthem.
