Soz welcomes relaxing of visa between Indo-Pak

SRINAGAR, Sept 9: Former Minister and PCC president Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz (MP) has welcomed the decision between Foreign Ministers of India and Pakistan in respect of relaxation of visa between the two countries.
Addressing a public meeting at Satpukhran village in Pampore area today, the PCC president said the latest mood for strengthening of confidence building measures (CBMs) between India and Pakistan, has been fully supported in both the countries by the major and other political parties. He hoped that this mood will be sustained better, if Pakistan shows its resolve to fight terrorism to its best ability.
Prof Soz  also took notice of the public problems and assured that he will take up the same with the concerned Ministers and officials. The main issues included drinking water, medical facilities and repair of roads and lanes besides deficient power supply. PCC chief  provided funds for electric transformer at the village and generator set at local school for running computers, out of his MP LAD fund.
Minister for Medical Education and Sports, R S Chib also spoke on the occasion. He said directions have been issued to the director to construct a sports field at the village. He said Sports- kits will also be provided to the youth of the area shortly. Senior party leaders G M Monga and  Mohd Anwar Bhat also addressed the gathering.
