JAMMU, Feb 11: Senior INTUC leader Shiv Kumar Sharma has been re-elected as provincial president of Water Works (PHE) Employees Association for Jammu region.
The election of the Water Works (PHE) Employees Association Jammu province was held at Company Bagh PHE Complex here today in which all the district presidents, divisional presidents, vice presidents, general secretaries and delegates representing all the districts/ PHE divisions of Jammu province participated.
A three members election committee headed by Madan Lal was duly constituted to hold the election. The election committee, before conducting the election dissolved the earlier provincial body to pave way for new body.
All the delegates unanimously re-elected Shiv Kumar Sharma unopposed as Provincial president of the Water Works (PHE) Employees Association for the next term.
Mr Sharma thanked all the delegates and general body for smooth holding the election and pledged that he will continue to serve the association with full devotion and dedication and promised that he will take up all the genuine demands of the PHE employees and workers with the concerned authorities forcefully for their redressal.
Mr Sharma announced the new body of the Association which was constituted with the consent of working committee and office bearers of the unit.
Vinod Sharma is new working president, Som Nath, Raman Kumar, Faiz Akbar Chouhan, Mohd Akram, Madam Lal (Rural) vice presidents, Ajay Sharma general secretary, Tahir Shawl, Munshi Ram, Madan Lal (North), Radhey Sham, Jagdish Singh, Joginder Paul, Ghulam Nabi Malik, Harbans Lal as secretaries, Naresh Kumar as cashier, Sham Lal, Hans Raj, Liaqat Ali and Kulbir Singh as organizing secretaries and Vijay Kumar as publicity secretary.
