JAMMU, Feb 11: Private School Association (PSA) today appealed the Governor NN Vohra and his advisor for Education Department to simplify the process of recognition and affiliation of private schools.
The association in a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of its president, Kamal Gupta, said that the private schools play effective role in the society by providing education to a large number of students but the complicated process of getting recognition and affiliation is severely affecting the functioning of these schools.
Alleging that a large number of files relating to recognition and affiliation of various schools are gathering dust in Directorate office, Commissioner’s office and office of State Board of School Education, the association appealed the Governor to intervene into the matter and simplify the process of getting affiliation and recognition for the schools.
