Govt should clear stand on left out PHE workers: Verma

JAMMU, Feb 13:   PHE Workers Welfare Association has demanded that  Govt should clear its stand on regularization of  left  out PHE workers.
Talking to media-persons here today, general secretary of  the Association,  Subash Verma, extending gratitude to the Governor N N Vohra for according approval  for the regularization of 302 PHE daily rated workers said that Government should clear stand on the regularization of the left out workers of the department who were engaged after 1994.  He said many workers are engaged for the last over one decade but still facing exploitation.
He demanded that all those workers who have completed more than 19 years as per SRO 64 should be regularised  without any delay. He also said that Association has decided to hold protest demonstration on February 15 at PHE complex B C Road for support of their pending demands.
Mr Verma demanded regularization of all the left out workers, regular and in time payment of the wages of PHE workers, clearance of backlog wages of workers, holding of DPC regularly  and providing designation to the staff as per their nature of job.    He appealed to the workers to make Feb 15 protest programme a grand success for their cause.
