NEW DELHI, Feb 13: On the sidelines of TTF Delhi , India’s biggest travel mart for inbound and domestic tourists, wall calendar of JKTDC was launched by Secretary Tourism Farooq A Shah today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Shah said that year 2016 has been declared as the “year of adventure tourism” in the State and informed the audience about the major adventure tourism attractions in the State.
Highlighting the major tourist attractions being developed, Mr Shah said that Haarwan in Kashmir and Sanasar in Jammu will be developed as international spots adjust camas for paragliding and other adventure activities besides potential of other areas like Patnitop, Sonamarg, Pahalgam and water bodies like Dal lake, Manasbal, Nageen, Wullar etc which are aptly suited for water tourism will also be tapped
He said the state offers all the tourism products and services in one platter which needs to be promoted and explored well for attracting domestic and international tourists.
