Strengthen Cong in J&K: Pawar

JAMMU, Feb 16: President, Pardesh Mahila Congress Indu Pawar has asked the party workers to gear up their activities and strengthen Congress party in their respective areas.
Addressing a meeting of Mahila Congress workers of at Kangan in district Ganderbal today, Ms Pawar asked workers to maintain close people to people contact and highlight the problems being faced by them. She alleged that the common man has been deprived of the fruits of development and is discriminated.
Ms Pawar said that Congress Party as a grass-root party has served this State and nation without any discrimination. It is serving all setting aside the caste, creed, religion or regionalism. Policies and schemes of development started by Congress have stood test of the time and large number of people from weaker sections of society have been benefitted.
She further said that strengthening of Congress in this State will ensure good governance, progress of secular values and development of all the three regions of State. She appealed all the party activists to work whole heartedly to strengthen the hands of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
