JAMMU, Feb 16: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu celebrated Annual Day on the theme ‘Sanskar’ with pomp and show at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here today.
The function started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries
Rohini Aima, Prinicipal cum Vice Chairperson presented welcome address and highlighted the achievements of the school.
The School students attired in colourful costumes presented a wonderful cultural programme full of various enticements which mesmerized the audience.
Among many items displayed by the students, the main attraction was the Dogri Skit and folk dances, “God is One” – a Dance drama item left everyone spell-bound.
The chief guest, Dr Pawan Kotwal, Divisional Commi-ssioner Jammu appreciated the high standards for imparting value education through new techniques and technologies brought into the system, while guest of honour, Viplav Kumar Choudhry, IGP Traffic congratulated the management, staff students for the outstanding show.
Prizes and medals were awarded to the students who excelled in various scholastic and co-scholastic activities.
Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairperson of the school presented vote of thanks.
