DC Budgam orders time bound inquiry into the matter
BUDGAM : The District Development Commissioner, Budgam ,Mir Altaf Ahmad has placed Naib Tehsildar Budgam and Patwari Halqa Bemina under suspension with immediate effect and attached them with the office of Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Budgam for mutating land measuring 64 kanals situated at village Bemina shamilatsec.-4 into shamilat-5 without ascertaining and submitting the factual position as per section 32 of LRA to higher ups.
The DDC has also ordered an inquiry into the matter to be conducted by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Budgam to be completed within a period of 15 days. Tehsildar Budgam has been asked to make suitable alternate arrangement for Patwari Halqa Bemina till the inquiry is completed whereas the Naib Tehsildar Humhama will hold the charge of Niabat Budgam in addition to his duties till further orders.
