Helpline Humanity for fresh water taps in migrant camps

JAMMU, Feb 18: A delegation of Helpline Humanity led by its president M K Bhat called on Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai and demanded that the migrant camps at Nagrota, Purkhoo, Muthi and Buta Nagar be provided fresh water taps.
In a memorandum submitted to Advisor they said that the residents in these camps are suffering from various diseases spread through contaminated water. The delegation demanded that the water taps to the migrant camps be provided as per the guidelines of World Health Organization (WHO).
The Advisor to Governor in a communiqué to Chief Engineer PHE Jammu has urged him to look into the matter.
