This is an acknowledged fact that it is not the gold or silver that makes the nation great but enlightened and dedicated human resource available to the nation for service in different sectors of social landscape that makes the nation great lock, stock and barrel. The country at the moment is confronted with heady challenges and needs experienced, selfless and committed people to contribute their best in different fields of their expertise. The focus of this write up is to turn spot light on the voluminous force of superannuated personnel on our soil living in hibernation in a dormant state just watching and making no meaningful contribution in the Nation’s development odyssey. They posses specialised expertise and knowhow of their distinct area of work. This gigantic segment of population warrants prompt activation from the state of inertia to harness them in the service of the motherland. Retirees from the armed or paramilitary forces, science and technology, finance, law, education, health and innumerable other areas of greater significance can be the perennial source of energy and strength.
Primarily, it is incumbent upon the Retirees elite force to come forward and place their services at the disposal of the Govt or genuine NGOs operating on Indian soil with social motive and alleviating the hardships of poor country men. On their part the Govt should also devise such a strategy and programme enabling the colossal force of retirees to rededicate themselves for national service not with motivation for money but out of love and filial obligation.
They do have the realization that whatever material prosperity has come their way in the short span of life is certainly on account of bountifulness of society and magnanimity of country as a whole. Whenever there is a Birth day bash for the children a return gift is usually given as per new convention in the modern society. This epitomises mutual love and trust required to facilitate the deeper relationship. On the same analogy, this is now the most opportune time to rise in response to perform the Return service in terms of time, sharing knowledge, experience and money as well for having a taste of divine blissfulness and ultimate exoneration from the national debt i.e. RASHTAR RRIN. It will also relieve them from malignant stress and usher in soothing internal peace. Hope the Retirees club take the call.
