UDHAMPUR, Feb 19: The two-day Mega Placement Camp under UDAAN was organised at Udhampur jointly by District Administration, Government Degree College management and National Skill Development Corporation in which 68 graduates were selected for training and placement in various companies.
The selected candidates will be given training for a period ranging from three to six months before their placement in different companies.
About 16 Corporate partners of Project UDAAN participated in the drive. Prominent among these included IL & FS, Accenture, IMS Health, Multicare Services, Central Institute for Plastic Engineering and Technology, Rooman Technologies, Future Learning, Surya wire Reliance HR, Ligare, Sehaj e village, etc.
Principal of the College Prof. S.S Bhalwal expressed satisfaction over the conduct of the event and said that such events are rare and claim a lot of energy for organizing them.
Komal from NSDC accompanied the corporate for the 2 days’ placement camp and Prof. Sanjay Kumar, District Nodal Officer Udaan coordinated the drive.
