JAMMU, Feb 20: A meeting of Private schools of District Jammu was held here today under the chairmanship of president Kamal Gupta, wherein Sanjeev Luthra and Lal Chand Gandotra were unanimously elected as district presidents Jammu Urban and district president Jammu Rural, respectively.
During the meeting, members from different zones highlighted the problems which they face at different quarters.
President Kamal Gupta briefed the members that the issues have already been brought in the notice of higher authorities of School Educat-ion Department from time to time but there was no action to redress the genuine problems of the private schools.
Ajay Gupta, State coordinator PSA J&K, appealed Advisor to the Governor and Education Department to convene a formal meeting as early as possible to discuss the issues.
