UDHAMPUR, Feb 20: A couple among five persons were injured in three separate road accidents, here since last evening.
A couple, identified as Vrinder Singh (53), son of Kuldeep Singh of Subash Nagar W no 1 Udhampur and his wife Luxmi Devi (48), were injured when their Alto car was hit by an unidentified tanker at Flata, on the National Highway, last night. They were brought to District Hospital Udhampur and given treatment.
Two youth, namely Jatin Sharma (19), son of Yog Raj of Garnai Udhampur and Rampal (23) son of Shiv Ram of Malarh Udhampur, were hit by unidentified vehicle on New National Highway at Garnai Udhampur. They were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred them to Government Medical College Hospital Jammu in view of their critical condition.
In another road mishap, an Alto car JK02AB/7716, collided with Wagon-R JK14A/9230 at Dhar Road near Raj Palace and then hit a pedestrian Kuldeep Kumar son of Brij Lal of Chennai. The pedestrian was critically injured in the mishap and was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur.
