JAMMU, Feb 20: BJP State President & MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma CA, along with school Principal Subash Sharma, distributed school uniforms among the students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Rehari, in presence of school staff, large number of local people and the party leaders.
Sat Sharma, who also addressed the gathering of students and staff in the premises of the school, said that uniform among the students shows the oneness among them and it all shows that students belong to the same  society.
He said that poor parents of some students can not afford uniforms but it should not become an obstacle in the studies of such students and hence the poor and needy girls are provided free uniforms by the Government.
Sharma said that the Government run educational institutions have been providing free and quality education since long and a large number of students from these schools have occupied the highest positions in the private and Government sectors.
“In present days also, the education provided to the students in Government schools is much better than the private schools, due to which the students after getting education in these schools are excelling in every sector,” he said.
While lauding the contribution of teachers of Government schools, Sat Sharma further said that the teachers are like the backbone of education sector in these schools and without their support the education sector cannot survive in present days.
Sat Sharma further urged  the people to admit their wards in the Government schools, so that they also can have a bright future in their life.
Ayodhaya Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma, Rajesh Bali, Dr. Pradeep, Dusyhant Singh, Kuldep Mahotra, Rajinder Singh, Ranjit Singh Manhas, Narinder Paul Singh, Sameer Vohra, Ankush Sharma, Jyoti Parkash, Asha Sharma and Sanjeevani Sharma were also present on the occasion.
