Srinagar, Feb 22: Police today said body of a man was recovered in Bandipora district of North Kashmir last evening.
A police spokesman said the body of 45 year old Sarwar Wani who hails from Wani Mohalla of Aloosa in the district was recovered in an open field near his residence. “After completion of legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his relatives for last rites,” he said.
The spokesman said police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
