Army organizes youth interaction

Srinagar, Feb 22: Army today said that it organized a youth Interaction was at Chandusa Higher Secondary School in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district with an aim to create awareness amongst the local youth regarding the various career options available after clearing the senior secondary exams as well as graduation.
A defence spokesman said various eminent speakers including Professor Tariq Ahmed Chakloo of Degree College Baramulla, Tariq Ahmed Sheikh, who is Assistant Director of Employment Exchange Baramulla and Vijender Jamwal from JKEDI also addressed the students.
Prof Chakloo, a prolific speaker, interacted with the children and made them aware about their internal capabilities & the heights they could achieve in life with proper direction and guidance, said the spokesman.
Tariq Ahmed Sheikh briefed the youth regarding the various self employment, social welfare and the cottage industry schemes being run by the State Govt.  “Jamwal also shed light on the various schemes for self employment & easy loans being instituted by the Government,” said the spokesman.
Brigadier Shabih Haider Naqvi concluded the event with his motivational talk and inspiration for the youth to take the path of righteousness.  “He also motivated them to find employment for themselves by seeking new alternatives and do something good for themselves as well as the society,” he added.
