Vibodh distributes cheques among SBM beneficiaries

RAJOURI, Feb 23: Giving further boost to various ongoing central schemes in the Pir Panjal region, BJP MLC Vibodh Gupta today distributed cheques worth Rs 7 lakh to various beneficiaries of the scheme.
These cheques were distributed to 71 households in Muradpur and Bathuni area in a function held at Muradpur as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM).
Speaking on the occasion MLC Vibodh Gupta said that such schemes of the Government have been designed to help the poor and marginalized communities. He said that the most affected people due to non availability of clean toilet facilities are the poor women who are always prone to various type of diseases as a result of this. Moreover, this also adds up to the pollution and various types of diseases also spread and the children also get infected.
He also highlighted the fact that this is a very noble mission launched by our visionary Prime Minister Narindra Modi. He said that Prime Minister has a dream of achieving total sanitation for all Indians and way he and his team is working, the day to realize this is not far off. He called upon the local people present on the occasion to be active part of such Government schemes and emphasized that without peoples participation such schemes can not achieve the desired results. He said that such incentives always encourage local people to make efforts to have better toilet facilities in their localities.
Local people present on the occasion assured their full support to MLC for successful implementation of schemes like Swachh Bharat Mission.
Among others present were Dinesh Sharma, Atam Gupta, Bashir Bhat, Bau Ram Sharma, Balbir Sarpanch, Ranjeet Tara and Harpal Singh.
