JAMMU, Feb 24: Police today arrested a man for beating his wife in RS Pura area of Jammu.
According to a police spokesman, the lady identified as Suman wife of Makhan Lal, a resident of village Jillad in RS Pura, was today thrashed badly by her husband over some domestic issue following which she was shifted to a nearby Government hospital for treatment.
He said on the complaint of woman, the accused husband identified as Makhan Lal son of Gian Chand of village Jillad, was booked under Sections 342/323 and later arrested by RS Pura police.
