JAMMU, Feb 24: The working committee meeting of the Jammu West Assembly Movement was held here wherein an appeal was made to State Governor to ‘dissolve the present Assembly and hold fresh polls for a stable and popular Government in Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the meeting, Sunil Dimple, president, Jammu West Assembly Movement urged upon the Governor to dissolve the Assembly as there is no chance of Government formation in the State.
Dimple said there was no justification constitutionally for the delay on the part of the Governor and he should dissolve the Assembly.
He alleged that giving more time to BJP -PDP for the unholy, unpopular alliance and delay in dissolving the Assembly will create doubts in the minds of the people of the State on the credibility of the Governor and the Raj Bhawan.
He also demanded the Governor to stop the salaries of the sitting  hung Assembly MLAs as they are burden on the public exchequer and getting salary without any functioning of the Government and have no work.
