Soz asks Pak to dismantle terror infrastructure

Srinagar, Sept 10:  Former Union Minister and President of Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC-I), Prof Saif-ud-Din Soz, today asked the Pakistani leadership to show political will to dismantle the terror infrastructure in the country for lasting peace in the region.
While addressing party convention in Town Hall Anantnag in South Kashmir, and a party rally at Frisal in district Kulgam, Soz said that Pakistan leadership has to show political will to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure in that country. He said that acting against the terror infrastructure would result in lasting peace between India and Pakistan and pave way for settling all pending issues.
He told the gathering that the developments taking place in the sub-continent are making the beginning of an era of friendly relations between India and Pakistan. He said that Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) such as relaxation of visa regime between India and Pakistan would help in building friendly atmosphere.
Prof Soz revealed that many Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) were in the pipeline and the entire process would be consolidated after the Pakistan visit of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh later this year.
The PCC chief also addressed gatherings at Frisal in South Kashmir district of Kulgam.  He was accompanied by Minister of Revenue and Rehabilitation Raman Bhalla, Vice President Ghulam Nabi Monga and other senior leaders of the party.
Prof Soz during party rally and convention promised the people of the South Kashmir macadamisation of roads, strengthening of District Hospital at Anantnag, construction of Tourist Reception Centre Anantnag, renovation of town hall and upgradation of health care facility at Dayalgam in Anantnag. He also assured the gathering of up-gradation of Primary Health Centre Frisal to Sub-district hospital.
Prof Soz said the new developments in the sub continent is the beginning  of an era  of  friendly relations between India and Pakistan starting with adoption of CBMs such as relaxation of visa regime between India  and Pakistan. He further said the lasting peace will be  established  between India and Pakistan and all issues will be sorted to mutual advantage when the latter showed political will and dismantle terror infrastructure in their country.
Responding to the local demands at Anantnag  and Frisal (Kulgam), the PCC (I) chief said  that action  on these demands such as  macadamisation  of roads, strengthening of District Hospital at Anantnag, construction of Tourist Reception Centre Anantnag, renovation of town hall and upgradation of health care facility at Dayalgam (Anantnag) was already is in process and he would take personal interests  in fulfillment of these demands.
At Frisal, Kulgam he assured the gathering that  upgradation of  Primary  Health Centre into sub district hospital would be  ensured  as early as possible.
Speaking on the occasion Raman Bhalla urged the gatherings at both the places to strengthened the Congress Party, so that their demands would be identified and fulfilled.  He announced that two Nayabats would be established as early as possible at Dayalgam in Anantnag and Frisal in Kulgam.
While addressing at both the places Ghulam Nabi Monga emphasized need for strengthening of the party.
