KISHTWAR, Feb 25: The villagers of far flung areas of Marwah, Warwan and Dacchan today held protest in front of Mini Secretariat.
The protestors also blocked the vehicular traffic for alleged deliberate delay in Aadhaar Card enrolment by the agency concerned.
They alleged that after walking several kilometers on foot they came to District Headquarters for enrolment under Aadhar but after spending several days and emptying their pockets they have failed to get enrolled due to negligence of enrolment agency.
They demanded separate enrolment counters in their native places.
Later, officials from District Administration reached the spot and assured them redressal of their issue.
On the assurance, the protestors dispersed.
