Clerical staff demands removal of pay anomalies

JAMMU, Feb 25: The Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association has urged upon the State Administration under Governor N N Vohra, to remove the anomalies in the pay grades of the clerical cadre.
In a meeting of the Association held here under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik, state president, the members appealed the State Governor to intervene into the matter and solve the pending issues of the employees. They also demanded that High Court orders in this regards be implemented without any delay.
Mr Malik demanded that Government should release 6 % DA of the employees and pensioners with effect from July 2015, enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month and implement Medical Insurance scheme for non-gazetted employees. Bharat Bhushan, K A Dewani, Meenakshi Sharma, Nazir Ahmed Bhat, B B Kotwal, Umer Jan and others were also present.
