JAMMU, Feb 25: Police today fished out body of an unidentified man from Chenab river near Jhulla bridge in Maitra area, this morning.
As per police sources, some passerby this morning noticed a body floating in river Chenab near Jhulla bridge in Maitra area of the district and informed the police.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and divers were pressed in to fish out the body.
The body was retrieved from the river Chenab and shifted to mortuary room at District Hospital (DH) for identification.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
