MIRPUR: India will aim to maintain their winning momentum in the Asia Cup when they take on arch-rivals Pakistan, in a high voltage T20 encounter at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium here tomorrow.

Fresh from a 45-run win against the hosts Bangladesh in the tournament opener, India will look to repeat their performance in the second game against the green brigade.

It is expected to be a battle between India’s star -studded batting line-up and Pakistan’s fiery pace battery which includes the likes of Mohammad Sami, Mohammad Irfan, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir. Despite form and history both on India’s side, tomorrow’s encounter will be a fresh start for both the teams.  The two teams last met here at the same ground in the 2014 World Twenty20, which India won by seven wickets. On head to head encounters, India have outclassed Pakistan on five occasions out of six. (AGENCIES)
