JAMMU, Feb 26: Chairperson J&K Accountability Commission, Justice BA Khan has been invited to participate in 13th SAARC Law Conference being held alongside the Conference of the Chief Justices of SAARC countries from March 4 to March 7 at Kathmandu, Nepal.
The conference would be inaugurated by the President of Nepal Bidhivya Devi Bhandari on March 5 and its valedictory function will be addressed by all the Chief Justices of the SAARC countries.
Justice BA Khan, who is also President of SAARC Law (India) would be leading team of the Judges, Senior Lawyers and Law Teachers from India to the Conference. He would also be addressing the Conference on the issues related to regional arbitration in SAARC.
The Conference provides a forum to the law persons of SAARC for exchanging the ideas on legal matters and to draw from each other’s experience to promote co-operation among the legal fraternity in the eight member grouping of these countries.
