Four injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Feb 26: Four persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city and its outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, a pedestrian identified as Pyare Devi (70) wife of Munshi Ram, a resident of Preet Nagar (Digiana) was hit and injured by a car near her residence.
At Jain Bazaar here, a woman pedestrian identified as Krishna Devi (70) wife of Bishan Lal, a resident of Udheywala, got injured when she was hit by a scooter while crossing the road.
In Gandhi Nagar near Green Belt Park, an elderly woman identified as Chanchala Devi (58) wife of Pushkar Dass, a resident of Chattha, suffered injuries due to fall from a moving bike.
At Gole Gujral Camp in Pounichak area, a 25-year old woman was crossing the road when a load carrier hit her and left injured.
All the injured women were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance.
