JAMMU, Feb 28: A 12 bore rifle has been reportedly stolen from a gun shop in Lower Gadigarh area.
As per police sources, Owner of Raina Gun Shop at Lower Gadigarh namely Bimla Devi lodged a complaint this morning that one 12 bore rifle has been stolen from the shop being run by her in Gadigarh area.
According to the complainant, the shop was closed for the last one year due to expiry of the licence and she had applied for its renewal. There were four weapons in the shop and only one has been stolen, she stated.
Acting over the complaint a case under FIR Number 39/16 under Section 380 and 457 RPC has been registered at Gadigarh police post and investigation started.
