JAMMU, Feb 28: Taking further the development activities in Cantonment area, the elected ward member Advocate Jasmeet Kour Pandey today inaugurated the work for the construction of lanes and drains of Cantonment.
Advocate Pandey was accompanied by Choudhary Harbans Singh, Balwant Singh, Kulwant Kour, Bable, Inderjeet Singh, Capt Gurdeep Choudhary, Dr Surinder, Manmohan Singh, Munna, Happy, Ankush Dogra, Kaka, Babloo, Sahil Chatri and Sanju Dai.
She also took on the spot assessment of the demands of the people during tour to the area and examined the problems being faced by the residents.
While speaking on the occasion, Advocate Pandey said that Ward Number 3 of Cantonment Satwari has long pending demands of the construction of lanes and drains which started today.
She assured the residents of Cantonment that their demands will be taken up in the agenda meeting and the work would be completed on priority and in shortest minimum time.
