JAMMU, Feb 29: Mitu Rajput, State Awardee, PG in Political Science, has been nominated as a non-official board member of All India Handloom Board (AIHB).
She was nominated for the post by Ministry of Textiles, Government of India under the chairmanship of Minister of Textiles (Independent charge), Santosh Kumar Gangwar.
Mitu Rajput has a vast experience of about 25 years in social activities, handicrafts and handlooms. She is also State co-convener of BJP Weaver & Artisan Cell, Handloom & Handicraft, J&K.
